The people of digital transformation.
Are you driving change or are you being driven by it? Disruption has become the new normal. But it is also common sense. New services and ways of working that are more efficient. Its what we have long imagined and talked about. Unless its an ecological disruption or another kind of crisis, disaster. Which means we’ve left it far too late and now the ecosystem is demanding the change.
Digital organisations utilise digital practices: rapidly experimenting, self-organising, driving decisions with data.
And yet if what we teach at schools is an outdated knowledge. By the time students reach their workplaces what they’ve learned is what we are trying to leave behind. Then the meaning of education is to teach how to think.
What about the things that can not be digitised and automated? Well, they are becoming ever more valuable. Human only traits such as creativity, imagination, intuition, emotion, ethics are the skills that make up the core of good company culture, qualities of high performing teams. The teams that are able to learn together, able to unite towards a common goal outperform their competitors.
